DEFINITION COMMENTS: Scientific management is... also known as Taylorism, because Frederic Winslow Taylor, who is also known as father of scientific management, was the first that introduced scientific method in the lab. Taylor was not the only one who studies scientific management. Others followed, such as Fayol, Gantt, Frank, Lillian, Gilbreth and others.
