The Node for Secondary Processing: Live Demonstration of a Tool for Secondary Use of Data

The Node for Secondary Processing of Greece’s National Social Research Center (Athens) is a dynamic digital content environment consisting of sets of small and long-term data, documentation of research projects, information on research bodies and research staff and publications. This content is organized on a thematic basis. Each thematic base consists of thematic catalogs of objects of a specific type. Thematic bases are the leading fields of the social sciences. The accumulation of digital data was started by Greece’s National Social Research Center researchers as part of the "The Node for Secondary Processing of Socio-Economic Data and Indicators" project. Through additional documentation tools, the thematic bases are constantly updated by authorized users who are either researchers, academics or students (as part of their internship). The thematic bases are constantly increasing and evolving through collaborations-networking with the wider academic community of the country.
