The present paper describes the environment of the Secondary Processing Node (SPN). The SPN was designed as an infrastructure for classifying digital evidence of empirical social research on thematic bases. A detailed description of the functions of the system is given, as the SPN is a system with several differences compared to other metadata management systems, which are used by various Social Data Files.
