The Laboratory of Urban Criminology of Panteion University in collaboration with the Laboratory of Methodology and Research in Criminology of the Greek Center of Social Research, organizes Seminars on the Methodology of Criminological Research and Studies.

In the context of these Seminars, the methods and techniques that characterize the empirical investigation of the urban crime phenomenon in the context of a more general discussion of methods and tools of forensic research and on the other hand, will be examined. Diplomatic, doctoral, postdoctoral and other studies by participants, with the aim of developing dialogue and facilitating the elaboration of their studies.

The Seminars will take place every Wednesday from 16.00 to 18.00 in Panteion University C2 Class (3rd floor of a seven-storey building) as well as in EKKE, in the meeting room (9 Kratinou & Athinas, 8th floor, entrance in Kratinou).

The seminars will start on 9/11/2016.

At the end of the Seminar, a Affirmation of Attendance will be awarded to those who participate in 2/3 of the presentations / lectures, while there is also the possibility of granting a Certificate of Attendance to those who will successfully respond to the overall assessment (test).

The seminar is open to postgraduate students, PhD candidates, PhD students, postdoctoral fellows and researchers with a special interest in Criminology.

The number of participants is set at twenty (20) people, after selection.
